April Fools

Shani likes to play April fools jokes on the kids each year. This year Shani scoured the internet for fun jokes to play on the kids. Shani found a couple one of which was placing thumb tacks on the toilet seat, the person stated it was not dangerous because the people SHOULD see the tacks first. The other good one we found was taking eyeliner and drawing on the kids’ faces, this one sounded safer so we went with it.

I got Shani's eyeliner and drew mustaches and chin hair on the kids. On Bodin I had to draw some random stuff due to him not letting me turn his head in his sleep. Well, during the night they must have rubbed most of it off because they didn't have a whole lot on them when they woke up. Finally McKinna and Bodin started to argue like they always do and McKinna said "What do you have on your face?" Bodin answered angrily "Nothing, what’s on yours!" McKinna answered "I don't have anything on my face, WHAT IS ON YOUR'S?" Bodin, getting madder yells at McKinna "I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING ON MY FACE, WHAT IS ON YOUR'S!!"

By this time I was dying with laughter and it finally clicked that mom and dad played a trick on them and they ran to the restroom to see what was on their face and started laughing.

Shani also likes to tape the kitchen sink spray nozzle open so when the kids turn on the sink the spray nozzle sprays them with water, gets them every year!! All in all a good day at the Cobb house!

Not Tired

What is it that Journey does at 10pm? Well, I can tell you that she definitly is not sleeping. She happened to be playing dolls tonight.

Bugz

Bodin had a school play all about Bugz. As we were getting ready to go, he mentioned the kids that wore masks. I commented that he did not buy a mask to wear, at which point he let me know that he paid for his mask with his own tooth fairy money. LOL! He apparently really wanted to wear a Bug Mask. The play was adorable. He did a great job, even on his speaking part. We are proud of our little Bug!

'Da Beach

We spent a day of Spring Break at Galveston Beach. The water was a bit chilly, but the kids did not seem to care. They got right in and they all loved it, except poor McKade. He sat in a chair under the shade just about the entire time. He was sick, but was quite the trooper.

How does that feel Jason? Better rub in the spray sunblock:)I just can't help, but laugh.

Bayou Wildlife Park

We just can't get enough of this place!

The Alamo

While in San Antonio we took some time to go see the Alamo and stroll down the Riverwalk.

To keep up with the times, here is Bodin planking! This was the little ferry we took to tour the Riverwalk. It was very educational.
By the end of the day, Journey and Grandpa were all tuckered out.

Sea World

We got up early in the morning on the first Sunday of Spring Break with Grandma and Grandpa for the much anticipated day...to meet up with the Merkleys at Sea World. We got in the car and drove through a nice 3 hour rainstorm.

It has been a long time since I have been to Sea World, but it was just as I remembered it. We had a great time. I only lost McKade once, and we has quickly found. All in all, a good time.
