McKade is FOUR!

Where does the time go? It seems like yesterday that my little boy was born. He told me yesterday that when he woke up today that he would be too big for me to pick up, since he would be four in the morning. I had to give it a try this morning, and yes he was heavier, but never to big to pick up. He is our funny little guy. He is a spitfire, and is great at comebacks. He is a sweetheart, though he will also blow up in an instant. (Quite a bit like his father really). He recently started daycare and he really likes it. He came home last week schooling all of us on what a newt was. He really loves to learn. Grandma Tana was able to come last week and took him out to McDonalds, and Chic-Fil-A for his birthday. She also took him to his ultimate request for his birthday which was to go to Buccees and get a soda. We did that again yesterday for him. He opened his presents early this morning and got BeyWheels (which he was been begging for), lego toys, a remote control car, the RED Ninja (he has also been begging for that one), and some Thomas trains (which Journey has decided are really hers). I sure love my McKade. He keeps life interesting (As a disclaimer, he was not in his P.J.'s all day, just when I happened to be taking pictures).
This picture is hard to see on here, but it is a drawing McKade did of our family the other day with his name written on it. His drawings are sooo cute, and his writing is coming along. He is very proud of it, and it is all done in his favorite color...RED.

McKade starts soccer

Soccer season has once again begun and is overtaking our lives. McKade is now playing as well as Bodin. McKade jumped right in there the first practice with no hesitation, however he does run up and down the field clueless. He is more interested at smiling at everyone and anyone that is watching him. When he does get a kick in he stops to look at you, gives you a huge smile, and then continues with what he was doing. That smile is worth every penny of soccer season. He loves it, and we are hoping he gets a little more aggressive as the season continues.
