Photo Day

Landons Birthday

We love that we get to spend Landon's and Brie's birthdays with them every year. This year Jason was a trooper and took the boys fishing, his dad was a trooper too and went with him. Ben was suppose to go, but do to some bad weather got stuck in Atlanta doing a work meeting. Us girls, went shopping and out to lunch for Brie's birthday. It was a rather nice day. Now, I do not have pictures from the real birthday trip, but we did take the kids fishing another day as well. It was hotter than heck out there, but we endured until Tommy finally caught a fish and we could go. We then hit up a splash pad. It was a nice day until Van slipped and gave himself a rather enormously huge goose egg on the back of his head. It is so bad, that he now has a bad spot from it. Poor guy!
Landon had a birthday party down at the park, which got a little crazy as a monsoon was blowing in. Much fun was to be had though.

New Babies

We got to meet some new cousins while we were in AZ. First up was Zev. Isn't he handsome.
We then got to meet Sophie. Whitney and Tommy were nice enough to bless here while we were there. Thank you. She is a doll!
We were even lucky enough for Claire to make her arrival while we were in town. She is also a doll.
We go to the Dentist annually while we are in AZ. This year McKade and Journey got to join in the fun. McKade did well for his cleaning, but was not going to let them fix his small cavity. We then went to our pediatric dentist here in Texas and he still was not going to let them fix it. It is a small cavity so the dentist decided to have him come back in 6 months and see if he is any better. She is great and so patient because I wanted to kill him. He screamed and kicked and told the dentist how much he did not like her. EMBARRASSING!

Children's Museum

We went to the AZ Children's Museum with the Cobb side of the family. The kids absolutely loved it.

Bodin's Baptism

Bodin was baptized on July 7, 2012 with his cousin Sutton. They are a day apart in age.
The boys were so handsome in their suits. Sonia and Sherman hosted the after party where a lot of our family came and had a lunch with us.

Mom and Dads house

After Holbrook our vacation to us to Grandma Tana's and Grandpa Bill's house. The kids could not wait to get there to ride on the Go Kart.
I must admit, I was excited to go for a ride too.
We also look forward to riding the 4 wheeler with Grandpa.
While waiting for their turns, the swingset is pretty fun.
All this playing makes one darn hungry, and Grandpa Bill and Bries watermelon from their garden hit the spot!
And you can't be in Queen Creek without finding some creatures, especially when Grandpa is around.

4th of July 2012

We started our vacation this year with our super long drive to the cabin where we stayed the night, and then we headed to Holbrook the next morning on the 4th. There is a lot of entertaining to be done there if you are a kid. McKade and Gunner found a "just right" tree to climb if you are 2.
The kids also did some pushing each other around in Grandmas wagon.
There was a lot of eating barbecue and some yummy desserts. Aunt Marlene was even kind enough to pull out the whip cream. Every kid (except Landons) dream.
The kids needed to work off some of their energy by climbing the best rocks ever.
We then headed down and watched the train go by, it is a little terrifying for the little ones. After that we went back to play with sparklers at grandmas house.
We then headed over to the Holbrook fireworks. It is a cold, and rainy night and we were so glad that Marlene had parked the RV there so we had some shelter. It was a great fireworks show and definitely memorable.
