For Brie's and Landon's birthday the girls went shopping, and the boy went shooting.  Fun was had by all. 

 

Some of the random things we did while in AZ.  Grandpa taught the kids how to play some card games, we took all the kids shopping, Downeast did not like us, Journey had her very first dentist appointment, and we spent a day at the pool. 

4th of July

From Sedona we headed to Holbrook for the 4th of July.  We watched fireworks.  Waiting before the fireworks started Bodin and Landon got a rock and scratched out there names on this new Holbrook rock the city had put in.  We let them know how they had graffitied.  Ben could not let it go as he told them he called the police on them and they would be coming to pick them up soon.  They were going to have to work off what they had done.  The boys were scared to death thinking of all the things they could do to make it right.  The were very sorry, and the lesson was learned.  Of course, while in Holbrook he went to watch the trains go by.  It is really quite a rush being that close to the trains as they fly by.     We love spending time in Holbrook with Grandma and Marlene.

I came across some pictures from Sedona in 2007, the last time we were there. I love those babies.

While in Sedona we went up to Slide Rock.  The water was FREEZING!  The kids slipped around throughout the place for hours with the cousins.  They did some cliff jumping and they even topped it off catching water snakes before we left.

For our vacation this year we started out by going to Sedona.  We had not been there in years.  I love it there.  It is so gorgeous! The Red Rock is like no other.  We rented the boys some 4 wheeling Jeep things for Father's Day before we went and they had a great time.  We were a bit lucky they came back alive.  We also went on a nice hike.
