Six Flags

 

Jim and Danielle came to visit over spring break, and we went to Six Flags over Texas.  This may have been the coldest day in history at Six Flags.  I am surprised we have any butts left on us, because they definitely froze off that day.  Regardless, we had sooo much fun.  Nonstop rides and coasters.  Ben and I even got to do some of the big ones, get this....by ourselves!  McKinna was a trooper and did a few of the big ones with us.  If the park would have been selling some hot chocolate we would have been in heaven. 

 

Monster Trucks

 

The Monster Truck Rally was a big hit with the kids.  They all wanted to Grave Digger to win, and they were extremely disappointed when that did not happen, but nonetheless they had a fantabulous time.

New Years 2013

So for Christmas, I got Ben the Soda Stream.  It comes with very clear directions to only use the Soda stream mixes with it.  Well, I had bought some Martinelli's drinks for New Years and had this great idea to add some extra carbonation to it.  It was sounding sooo good in my overtired New Years mind.  Ya, I should have followed those directions because we had a major explosion that night.  Bodin was quite the helper mopping.  It was quite the clean up, between the counters, cupboards, floors, and ceiling.  we could not stop laughing. 

 

Christmas 2012

Christmas 2012 came and went too fast.  It was another great one!

Just a couple cute conversations I would like to remember...
As we are driving in the car I ask the kids what they would like to be when they grow up.

• Bodin- I don't know.

       Me_That's okay, you have plenty of time to figure that out.

• McKade-A firefighter
• McKinna-A speech therapist
• Jouney- A unicorn. 

Mckade and Jouney were imagining they were in a car.  Journey was the driver and McKade was following behind her in the backseat.

• McKade- Where are we going?
• Journey- To Target, it's in my room.
• McKade-Can you turn on the radio?
• Journey- Makes a noise as she turns it on.
• McKade now becomes the radio ...Hey Sexy Lady Etc. 

We had been talking about renting a movie,  "Life of Pi".
Bodin, "What is the name of the movie we are renting?"
McKade "Life of Cake."
